We read the book Martin'g Big Words and then worked together to identify words that were important from the book - the BIG words. Students recognized words such as equality, togetherness, love, peace, kindness and friendship.
For this particular activity, older classes were paired with younger classes and they worked together to create a post and then stage a picture that would represent their post. It's amazing to see the leadership skills that the older students are developing as they work with the younger students.
Their final products were amazing!
